Support Worker for Children with SEND

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Graduate or Experienced individual to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant in Brent. As a passionate advocate for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), you will play a vital role in creating an inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in education, preferably with experience working with vulnerable children. You will be responsible for providing direct support to students with SEND, developing and implementing tailored lesson plans, and collaborating with teachers to ensure seamless integration into the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to students with SEND, promoting independence and confidence
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons, adapting materials to meet individual needs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement inclusive educational strategies
Requirements:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with children, teachers, and other staff members
- Experience working with children with SEND is preferred but not essential
- Strong organizational and time management skills
