We are seeking an experienced SEND Support Worker to join our All Age Disability Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting service delivery and promoting the independence, dignity, choice, and control of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Support service delivery for young people with SEND needs, focusing on achieving positive outcomes.">
  • Provide personal care and manual handling duties as required, prioritizing the health and wellbeing of service users.">
  • Assist with planning and facilitating sessions in line with individual EHCP outcomes, ensuring effective communication.">
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in electronic and paper systems.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Knowledge of working with young people with SEND needs or vulnerable adults, holding a Care Certificate or willingness to undertake.">
  • Working knowledge of alternative communication systems.">
  • Experience of working with young people with SEND needs or vulnerable adults, or within a PBS service.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • Able to work effectively under pressure.">
