Job Title: Clerical / Administration - Finance Level 2
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our Finance Department at Powys County Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our finance staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
- Assist with financial transactions, including processing invoices and payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and spreadsheets.
- Develop and implement efficient administrative systems and procedures to improve productivity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
- Highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Desirable: ability to speak Welsh.
