Clerical / Administration - Finance Level 2

We are seeking a highly motivated and suitably qualified Administrator to join our team at Powys County Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our finance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative procedures and policies.
Requirements:
  • Highly motivated and suitably qualified individual with excellent administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Desirable: ability to speak Welsh.
