Job Title: Clerical / Administration - Finance Level 2

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our Finance Department at Powys County Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our finance staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry, document preparation, and filing.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases.
  • Develop and implement efficient administrative systems and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Desirable Skills:

  • Ability to speak Welsh.
  • Experience working in a finance or administrative role.
