Job Purpose:

We are seeking an Administrative Support Officer to provide administrative support to the Development & Asset Management Directorate at Orange Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of Development, Compliancy, and Asset Management programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with current regulations and Barcud's policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring all records are up to date and securely stored.
  • Report on programme records to staff, the Welsh Government, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Assist in the collaboration of Development and Asset Management staff with other functions to ensure joined-up service delivery.
  • Support the stock condition and WHQS survey programmes by undertaking administrative tasks.
  • Organise property inspections, coordinating with Barcud staff and external providers.
  • Assist with documentation and storing of Compliance certification, ensuring all certification is up to date.
  • Ensure all works are carried out to high standards and in line with regulations and legislation.

Requirements:

  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.
  • NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
  • Supporting the delivery of Development, Compliancy, and Asset Management programmes.
  • Providing a proactive customer service.
  • Keeping good and accurate records and databases.
  • Arranging inspections.
  • Assisting with tenant liaison prior to capital works.
  • Working collaboratively across an organisation.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Awareness of the scope of Development, Compliancy, and Asset Management services.
  • Knowledge of best practice administration approaches.
  • Ability to maintain accurate databases and comply with documentation.
  • Able to produce comprehensive quality reporting for effective decision making.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Sound numerical, reasoning, and written communication skills.
  • Proven competency to handle confidential and sensitive information.
