Ward Administration Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and effective Ward Clerk to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will provide administrative support for the ward, ensuring the smooth functioning of the unit through effective communication, general administration, and interactions with patients, visitors, and the multi-disciplinary team.
Main Responsibilities- Provide a friendly face of the ward, warmly greeting and directing visitors to areas within the ward
- Manage phone calls into the department and track patient journeys through the department
- Request and track notes, file documents, and ensure electronic systems are up-to-date
- Maintain good working relationships with the multi-disciplinary team, including Consultants, Secretaries, other admin teams, and ward nursing staff

Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this role is estimated to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
