About the Job

We are looking for a skilled Safeguarding Children Clinical Advisor to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to frontline staff, developing and delivering training, and supporting with monitoring practice and progression of improvement plans.

Requirements
  • Significant post-registration experience.
  • Experience of managing investigations, including root cause analysis and complaints.
  • Understanding of relevant National Service Frameworks and Local Safeguarding Children Partnerships procedures.
  • Clinical audit and standard setting experience.
Job Description

As a Clinical Governance Lead for Safeguarding, you will be responsible for leading the development of child protection practice across the trust. You will work closely with the Named Nurse for Children's safeguarding and the Specialist Safeguarding practitioner to raise awareness of child protection practice and provide support and guidance to frontline staff.
