About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Health Nurse to join our Integrated Safeguarding Team as the Named Nurse for Safeguarding Children and Adults. The successful candidate will work in partnership with stakeholders, including health providers, NHS E/I, and safeguarding partnerships, to support the discharge of safeguarding duties and responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include producing high-quality analytical reports to support Serious Review Processes, working closely with colleagues to provide safeguarding health specialist advice within the Serious Incident process, and advising partner agencies on health matters related to safeguarding children and adults at risk.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in safeguarding, MCA, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, with a good working knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies, procedures, and best practice guidance for both children and adults at risk. They will be able to demonstrate professional curiosity, understand the principles of confidentiality, and be confident and flexible in their approach.
