Job Overview:
NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board is seeking a Safeguarding Children and Adults Nurse to join their Integrated Safeguarding Team. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference through safeguarding practice and improve the lives of children and adults at risk.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will work alongside another Named Nurse for Safeguarding Children, Adults, and MCA under the leadership and support of an experienced MCA Lead and Deputy Designated Nurse for Safeguarding Children and Adults. The team is compassionate, inclusive, diverse, and well-resourced to meet the safeguarding needs of the communities they serve.

Main Responsibilities:
The Named Nurse will work in a team of competent safeguarding practitioners committed to making a difference through the safeguarding agenda. Key aspects of the role include producing high-quality analytical reports to support the Serious Review Process, working in partnership with stakeholders, and contributing to single and multi-agency strategies and policies related to safeguarding.

Requirements:
The successful candidate must be a NMC Registered Nurse or Midwife with a degree-level qualification in a relevant subject. Best Interest Assessor (BIA) qualification or a commitment to undertake the BIA course is also required. Experience of leading change in the safeguarding arena and working in the NHS is desirable.

Salary: £45,000-£60,000 per annum depending on experience.
