Academic in Sociology and Dental Public Health

We are looking for an academic with both research and teaching experience to join our department as a lecturer. You should have a strong background in sociology and substantial qualitative research experience, with a PhD in the application of sociology to health.

\

This role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in the subject areas of sociology and dental public health, and supervising research dissertations. You will be responsible for creating and delivering an engaging and inclusive student experience, and have the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team of researchers and clinicians.

\

The estimated salary for this position is £52,500-£62,500 per year, based on a location in Leeds. We offer a range of benefits, including a generous pension scheme options plus life assurance, 42 days holiday per year, and access to courses run by our Organisational Development & Professional Learning team.
