Sociology and Public Health Educator

\

We are seeking an experienced educator to join our team as a lecturer in sociology and dental public health. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sociology, with a PhD in the application of sociology to health.

\

This role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in the subject areas of sociology and dental public health. You will be responsible for creating and delivering an exciting and inclusive student experience, and have the ability to infuse others with enthusiasm.

\

The salary for this position is £50,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a generous pension scheme options plus life assurance, 26 days holiday plus approx. 16 Bank Holidays/days that the University is closed by custom, and access to courses run by our Organisational Development & Professional Learning team.

\

In addition to your academic qualifications and experience, we are looking for someone who has effective interpersonal and time management skills, and can work well as part of a team.
