Safeguarding Professional Opportunity

iPeople Solutions is seeking a dedicated Safeguarding Inquiry Officer to join our team in Yorkshire and the Humber.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality statutory safeguarding duties, working closely with colleagues from other agencies to promote Making Safeguarding Personal.

Key Accountabilities

The main responsibilities of this position include:

  • Working as an Inquiry Officer on specific safeguarding concerns and enquiries that require Social Work capability.
  • Resolving safeguarding enquiries in a timely manner, adhering to agreed timescales and team performance frameworks.
  • Identifying and processing safeguarding and 'quality of care' issues, working closely with Commissioning Teams to protect and promote people's welfare.
  • Developing effective working relationships with health professionals, private providers, and voluntary sector services to ensure smooth transitions through the system.

This is a full-time position requiring flexibility over 5 days per week (Monday – Friday) and offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of approximately £35,000 per annum, plus opportunities for career progression and professional development.

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as a qualified social worker in Adult Social Care, preferably in a safeguarding position.
