Job OverviewThe NHS England board has set out the top-level purpose for the new organisation to lead the NHS in England to deliver high-quality services for all. We are committed to enabling local systems and providers to improve the health of their people and patients and reduce health inequalities.
As a Clinical Lead, you will work closely with the CYP Transformation Programme team, NHS England National Clinical Directors and Medical Directors to provide clinical advice and leadership. Your expertise will be invaluable in driving the implementation of Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs) for CYP across England.
Main Duties- Clinical advice and leadership to drive transformation of services for patients and implementation of INTs for CYP.
- Clinical advice to support the commissioning of services; and
- Clinical advice on ad hoc issues to support parliamentary accountability.
You will also provide clinical leadership and advice to support the programme SRO, National Clinical Director and work with the National Specialty Advisors in the successful delivery of the INTs for CYP programme. This includes influencing policy development and implementation, securing key stakeholder buy-in, promoting the NHS and acting as a spokesperson for NHS England.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- Educated to degree level in a relevant medical/scientific/nursing/allied health/pharmacy/dental discipline.
- Current registration with relevant national body (e.g. GMC, NMC etc).
You will also require clinical experience of working in an integrated model of care for CYP and a track record of delivering major change programmes to transform clinical services.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this role is £105,000 per annum pro rata, making it one of the most competitive salaries in the industry. You will also receive a range of benefits, including a generous pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
