The successful candidate will work closely with our highly qualified therapist team to develop individual care plans and positive behaviour support strategies.
Responsibilities- Supporting children and young people in meeting their needs through effective communication and collaboration with our team.
- Promoting choice, independence, dignity, privacy, and fulfillment of rights for all individuals.
- Managing challenging behaviour using approved approaches defined within individual Positive Behaviour Support plans and Sherwood training.
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete).
- Safeguarding practice understanding and additional training willingness.
- Enthusiasm, confidence, and resilience when faced with behaviours of concern.
- Ability to act professionally at all times, ensuring professional boundaries.
- Caring and compassionate nature towards those in need of care and support.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
