Residential Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Residential Care Specialist to join our team at Witham Prospect School.
The successful candidate will work on a rolling rota, supporting children and young people with Severe Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Complex Care needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting individuals to meet their needs through positive behaviour support plans and individual care plans.
- Promoting choice, independence, dignity, and privacy for all residents.
- Maintaining a safe and happy environment, prioritising the health, safety, and welfare of children and young people.
- Collaborating with staff teams to safeguard children and young people in our care.
- Facilitating learning opportunities during residential, leisure, and educational activities.
The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience working with vulnerable populations.
A salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum is offered, depending on qualifications and experience.
