Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Business Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and engaging with businesses to promote our clients' Apprenticeship programmes, developing and maintaining employer relationships, and managing daily output using internal CRM systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development
- Proactively identify and engage with businesses to promote our clients' offering of Apprenticeship programmes.
- Develop and maintain employer relationships, maximising all opportunities for uptake of learner starts.
- Manage own daily output using internal CRM systems.
- Undertake Organisational Needs Analysis to meet employer's needs.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions within agreed timeframes.
- Report sales data and insights on a regular basis.
- Maintain knowledge of policy changes, funding changes and relevant business expectations.
- Work towards and achieve revenue targets.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A background in a similar role, promoting apprenticeships or employability programmes.
- The ability to overcome objections and negotiate effectively.
- Experience of working towards and achieving targets.
- Excellent communication, administrative and organisational skills.
- A confident, friendly and professional manner, willing to learn and adapt to new situations.
- A full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Flexibility with travel.
