Pan Thames Paediatric LTV Educator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Paediatric Long Term Ventilation Training Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our multidisciplinary team to transform service delivery of paediatric long term ventilation and improve patient and family experience.
Key Responsibilities- Design, deliver, and evaluate educational resources and training sessions to increase the competence of healthcare professionals in paediatric long term ventilation.
- Work closely with the Programme team, Clinical Leads, and acute multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure the effective design, delivery, and sustainable implementation of LTV Skills across the North Thames Paediatric Network.
- Identify training and development needs of multidisciplinary clinical teams and develop resources to support education and training.
- Provide motivation, mentoring, and coaching to a broad range of health professionals to increase confidence and competence.
- Support the North Thames Paediatric Network team in the provision of regular online or face-to-face local and relevant teaching and training sessions.
- Assist in maintaining a Risk log and disseminating learning from risks/incidents across the Pan Thames region.
- Develop and maintain the Education content for the Pan Thames Website for both professionals and parents/carers.
- Regularly produce reports related to training and education across the network for the Programme Board, Commissioner work stream reports, network trusts, etc.
- Education to degree level, and active professional registration as an allied health professional or practitioner psychologist.
- Experience of caring for children and young people requiring long term ventilation.
- Significant post-registration experience within the speciality.
- Experience of designing, delivering, and evaluating educational resources/training sessions/programmes and working with other educators.
- Experience of involvement in educational initiatives.
- Experience of working within multi-professional teams and across sites.
