Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant to join our Paediatric Intensive Care team. The successful candidate will provide consultant cover for clinical activities and other areas related to both the PICU and retrieval service.

About the Role

The PICU currently has 15 consultants in post, covering both the Paediatric Critical Care Units (PICU and PCCU) and the South Thames Retrieval Service. Consultants have key areas where they provide additional consultant leadership and other key positions within the Trust. As a Locum Consultant, you will be responsible for providing consultant cover for clinical activities and all other areas related to both the PICU and retrieval.

Requirements
  • Experience in either anaesthetic or paediatric backgrounds
  • Ability to provide consultant cover for clinical activities and other areas related to both the PICU and retrieval service
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
