Job Title: ALN Teaching Assistant

Salary:£83.85 per day, estimated annual salary: £65,494.20 based on 5 days a week and 52 weeks a year.

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to support students with autism in a secondary school environment, providing tailored assistance to help them develop social, communication, and behavioural skills using proven strategies and interventions.

  1. Deliver one-to-one or small group support to students with autism, focusing on their unique needs and developing their abilities through targeted interventions.

Key Requirements:

  1. Experience of working with children or young people, ideally those with autism or additional learning needs, with a strong understanding of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and the ability to implement effective strategies to support students with different needs.
  2. The ability to adapt and be flexible to meet the individual needs of students, demonstrating a patient and empathetic approach in a dynamic and fast-paced educational setting.
