Job Title: ALN Teaching Assistant
Salary:£83.85 per day, estimated annual salary: £65,494.20 based on 5 days a week and 52 weeks a year.
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to support students with autism in a secondary school environment, providing tailored assistance to help them develop social, communication, and behavioural skills using proven strategies and interventions.
- Deliver one-to-one or small group support to students with autism, focusing on their unique needs and developing their abilities through targeted interventions.
Key Requirements:
- Experience of working with children or young people, ideally those with autism or additional learning needs, with a strong understanding of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and the ability to implement effective strategies to support students with different needs.
- The ability to adapt and be flexible to meet the individual needs of students, demonstrating a patient and empathetic approach in a dynamic and fast-paced educational setting.
