Support Teacher for Students with Autism

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring SEN Support Assistant to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. In this crucial role, you will provide essential support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a specialist school in Waltham Forest East London.
As a member of our team, you will play a vital part in creating a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters the growth and development of students with autism. With a strong emphasis on individualized learning plans and collaborative teamwork, we strive to create a space where every student can reach their full potential.
The estimated salary for this role is £29,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you have experience working with students on the autism spectrum or within a special education setting, we encourage you to apply.
Key Requirements:- A degree in Education or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or in a special education setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with students families and colleagues.
- A patient compassionate and flexible approach to working with diverse learners.
- A clear DBS check is required to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students.
