About the Role

As an Operational Training Manager at HC-One, you will play a pivotal role in promoting a culture of learning and professional development within our organization. Working closely with leaders, stakeholders, and Personal Development Colleagues, you will shape, develop, and deliver learning and development plans and solutions that align with our changing needs and priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult, advise, and support managers by providing high-level people management and development support across designated areas.
  • Commission services, projects, or activities that support the delivery of HC-One and departmental strategies and objectives, leading by example as a role model for HC-One values and professional standards.
  • Directly line manage and support Learning & Development Facilitators in their roles, using coaching and mentoring skills to enhance and develop the team to meet organizational needs.
  • Regular travel and overnight stays are required across South England as part of this role.
  • Design and deliver a fit-for-purpose learning and development offering, working in partnership with the Learning & Development Facilitators and key stakeholders.
  • Support People Development Projects that underpin wider business initiatives, building insight into existing levels of capability against future requirements, identifying organizational skills gaps and risks.
Requirements
  • A relevant Learning & Development qualification, or a Training/Teaching qualification.
  • Experience in providing learning and development expertise and practice in complex organizational settings.
  • A hands-on people leader, coaching and mentoring a team across a large geographical area to inspire, coach, and educate colleagues.
