Job Title: HR and Training Manager

The successful candidate will provide commercial HR advice, guidance, and support to senior management to meet business objectives in line with legislation and people best practice.

This role will be part of the Account Management Team and will serve as the key interface between the team and the wider G4S Business Unit:US Youth Services to ensure we continue to attract, recruit, retain, train, and develop the best possible personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide guidance, advice, and support to the Security management team to identify recruitment requirements and needs in support of physical security services delivery and associated development.
  2. Oversee, direct, and support recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new personnel.
  3. Handle HR matters reliably and in accordance with legal requirements, seeking guidance from the Secure Solutions Senior HR Business Partner and the wider HR team.
  4. Assist in updating and implementing specific HR policies and procedures, championing change and business innovations.
  5. Coordinate the implementation of site-specific workforce agreements and procedures.
  6. Manage third-party suppliers, particularly close working with the recruitment partner Staffline.
  7. Lead and coordinate all training requirements and competencies, ensuring training records and materials are kept up to date.
  8. Coordinate the collection of accurate data and produce management information relating to employees, ensuring that any risks or business defects are monitored and actioned as applicable.
  9. Supervise, coach, and manage a wider HR/ER team, ensuring all SLAs are met in line with business needs, implementing corrective initiatives where required.
Requirements:Essential Skills:
  1. CIPD Qualification
  2. Workforce Management experience
  3. Proficient in the use of IT
  4. Attention to detail
  5. Ability to translate complex concepts into simple persuasive language
Desirable Skills:
  1. Analysis of data and trends.
  2. Champion for personal development and coaching of others.

Estimated salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per year. National travel is required but primarily home-based.
