Training Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Training Manager to join our team at G4S Business Unit:US Youth Services. This is a fixed-term, 9-month contract role requiring regular travel across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training sessions to supervisors as part of a custom-designed course.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person training sessions to supervisors, ensuring all course materials are effectively communicated and understood.
- Travel to multiple locations across the UK to conduct training sessions according to the training schedule.
- Facilitate tailored training sessions aligned with business requirements, ensuring consistency and high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with the core L&D team to stay updated on training content, materials, and methodologies.
- Provide feedback on training sessions, identifying any gaps or areas for improvement in content or delivery.
- Assist in tracking and reporting training attendance and outcomes to the HR Training and Development Manager.
- Ensure that all training materials and approaches comply with company and client standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a corporate or company trainer, focusing on delivering tailored training programs.
- Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Conflict Management Level 3 certification is required.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively across the UK to deliver on-site training.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage participants and deliver content clearly and effectively.
- Experience in training supervisory or management-level staff is preferred.
- Ability to adapt training delivery methods to suit different learning styles and audiences.
- Proficient in using digital tools for reporting and managing training records.
- Previous experience in travelling to multiple sites for training delivery.
