At CV-Library, we are seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of our new supported living facility in Ipswich.

About the Role

The successful candidate will promote a caring environment for our customers through high standards of professional practice, ensuring each individual receives tailored care appropriate to their needs.

As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all company, local, and national standards while overseeing quality assurance activities. You will work closely with the Area Manager to assess individuals referred for housing, care, and support services at the facility, developing personalized support plans in conjunction with relevant professional agencies and families/representatives.

You will also assist the Area Manager in preparing rosters that ensure sufficient staff are available at all times, deployed efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of tenants.

The role involves participating in the on-call rota and providing cover for care and housing-related support duties when emergency cover is needed.

We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements
  • Substantial experience in providing care and support services for vulnerable adults
  • Previous supervisory/management experience with an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, working towards level 5
  • Good commercial acumen, commitment to setting and maintaining high standards, and good IT skills
