Reception Administrator Job Summary

Wales Medicines Strategy Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Reception Administrator to join its team. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to work in a fast-paced environment, providing professional front line customer service and administrative support to patients, visitors, and colleagues.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, working collaboratively with all levels of staff, and supporting the administration of medical educational programmes. You will also be required to direct visitors to the appropriate centres/staff and provide administrative support on room bookings and organising multiple bookings.

Main Duties
  1. Customer Service: Provide a professional front line customer service in person, by phone or email, ensuring a high level of satisfaction among patients, visitors, and colleagues.
  2. Visitor Direction: Direct visitors to the appropriate centres/staff, using your knowledge of the organisation's layout and resources.
  3. Administrative Support: Provide administration support on medical educational programmes, including room bookings and organising multiple bookings.
Requirements
  • Education: GCSE (Grade C/Level 4 or above) in English Language and Maths, NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service, organisational and administrative skills; IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Teams.
Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £23,615 per annum, pro rata, reflecting the importance of this position in delivering exceptional customer service and administrative support.
