Job Description

This role is an excellent opportunity to provide professional front line customer service and administrative support in a fast-paced environment at Wales Medicines Strategy Group. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, directing visitors to the appropriate centres/staff, and supporting the administration of medical educational programmes.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, organisational and administrative abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams. You will work collaboratively with all levels of staff within the organisation, communicating professionally and prioritising tasks effectively.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service: Provide a professional front line customer service in person, by phone or email, ensuring a high level of satisfaction among patients, visitors, and colleagues.
  2. Visitor Direction: Direct visitors to the appropriate centres/staff, using your knowledge of the organisation's layout and resources.
  3. Administrative Support: Provide administration support on medical educational programmes, including room bookings and organising multiple bookings.
Requirements
  • Education: GCSE (Grade C/Level 4 or above) in English Language and Maths, NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service, organisational and administrative skills; IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Teams.

Salary Details

The salary for this role is £23,615 per annum, pro rata, reflecting the importance of this position in delivering exceptional customer service and administrative support.
