About the Role

The Patient Pathway Co-ordinator role is an exciting opportunity to join our Respiratory department. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our clinical teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between patients, clinicians, and other stakeholders. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities. You will work closely with our service management team to ensure efficient patient tracking and validation processes.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide administrative support to clinical teams, including phone and email queries, clinic bookings, and day case admissions.
* Ensure accurate and timely patient tracking and validation within RTT standards.
* Maintain up-to-date records on our trust database, highlighting any escalations or issues requiring attention.
* Collaborate with the service management team to ensure all administrative processes are delivered efficiently, including data collection for national audits.

Requirements

This role requires a professional with strong administrative and organisational skills, particularly in managing patient pathways and data. You should have experience working in a similar environment, preferably within the NHS. A GCSE in English or equivalent qualification is essential. IT skills and knowledge of medical terminology are desirable. A competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
