We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to lead our innovative teams in delivering a comprehensive psychology service.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have expertise in working with psychosis and complex needs, as well as experience in facilitating/co-facilitating psychological therapy groups, applying psychology in different cultural contexts, and teaching/training others. They will be responsible for leading on the provision and delivery of a comprehensive psychology service, developing and implementing effective partnerships with multidisciplinary community teams and community/3rd sector partners, and supervising other staff and leading service development projects.

Key Requirements
  • Advanced specialist knowledge of psychology applied to clinical practice.
  • Specialist theoretical and practical knowledge of the assessment and intervention of complex mental health difficulties.
  • Experience of working with clients with psychosis and complex needs.
  • Ability to function in highly emotionally distressing circumstances.
  • Genuine commitment to MDT partnership working and psychological approaches to psychosis.
