We are seeking a Highly Specialist Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at West London NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have expertise in working with psychosis and complex needs, as well as experience in facilitating/co-facilitating psychological therapy groups, applying psychology in different cultural contexts, and teaching/training others.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on the provision and delivery of a comprehensive psychology service, developing and implementing effective partnerships with multidisciplinary community teams and community/3rd sector partners, and supervising other staff and leading service development projects. They will also be expected to maintain a sound understanding of, and a commitment to uphold, the National Health Service values and principles set out in the NHS Constitution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on the provision and delivery of a comprehensive psychology service.
  • Develop and implement effective partnerships with multidisciplinary community teams and community/3rd sector partners.
  • Supervise other staff and lead service development projects.

The ideal candidate will have advanced specialist knowledge of psychology applied to clinical practice, specialist theoretical and practical knowledge of the assessment and intervention of complex mental health difficulties, and a genuine commitment to MDT partnership working and psychological approaches to psychosis. The salary for this role is approximately £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
