Job Overview

West London NHS Trust is seeking a highly experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to lead our Community Eating Disorders Service.

This fixed-term 1-year position offers an excellent opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic psychologist to develop their skills in service development, eating disorders, and mental health difficulties.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Lead Psychologist/ Clinical Lead, providing clinical leadership and managing a caseload of clients with complex needs.

A competitive salary of £52,808 - £76,768 per annum (inclusive of honoraria) is on offer, reflecting the importance of this role in delivering high-quality services to our patients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and manage a caseload of clients with complex needs
  • Deliver assessments and specialist interventions for eating disorders and other mental health difficulties
  • Liaise with professional networks and represent the service in consultation forums
  • Support staff development and skill-building initiatives
  • Develop and implement Quality Improvement projects

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
  • Training in clinical supervision for Doctoral trainees
  • Substantial experience in eating disorders and related mental health difficulties
