About the Opportunity:
">TACT is a 'not for profit' organization that puts the needs of our children and carers first. We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Participation and Advocacy Practitioner.
">This role offers a unique opportunity to work with children and young people, promoting their participation and advocacy in a supportive environment.
">The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and participating in events, trips, and activities tailored to the interests and developmental stages of the children in our care.
">Main Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement activity plans that meet the diverse needs of our children and young people">
- Organize and participate in events, trips, and activities that promote participation and advocacy">
- Maintain accurate records and paperwork associated with events and activities">
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless service delivery">
- Contribute to the development of our Trauma-Informed Practice">
Requirements:
">- ">
- A formal qualification in working with children and young people">
- Experience in a paid or voluntary capacity of participation, advocacy or direct work with young people">
- A good working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulation and statutory guidance">
- Good understanding of child development">
- Understanding the care experience for Children & Young People">
- Can establish constructive and effective working relationships with other colleagues, agencies and partners">
- Understands inter and multi-agency working">
- Can relate well to young people">
