Salary and Benefits

  • £16,562 per annum (£16,112 salary + £450 Homeworking Allowance)
  • 21 hours per week, 3 days over the working week, including evenings and occasional weekends - Permanent Role
  • Homebased in the North West, including Merseyside and Greater Manchester

Job Description

  • Be an accessible point of contact for children living with our carers and keep them informed about TACT's facilities and opportunities.
  • Support interventions and activities to ensure stable placement arrangements.
  • Transport children and young people to events, appointments, and meetings (mileage reimbursed).
  • Organise and participate in virtual and face-to-face events, as well as occasional residential meet-ups.
  • Manage paperwork associated with events and activities.
  • Work flexibly according to deadlines and needs of our families.
  • Undertake trauma-informed direct work with children and young people.

Requirements

  • A formal qualification in working with children and young people.
  • Experience in a paid or voluntary capacity of participation, advocacy, or direct work with young people.
  • A good understanding of child development and relevant legislation, regulation, and statutory guidance.
  • Knowledge of the care experience for Children & Young People.
  • Ability to establish constructive relationships with colleagues, agencies, and partners.
  • Understanding of inter- and multi-agency working.
  • Capacity to relate well to young people.
