About this role

You'll be leading the way in our Payment Facilitator Partnerships team, driving growth and acceptance for American Express. As a key member of our team, you'll establish strong relationships with existing partners and identify new opportunities to increase our share of business volume.

  • Portfolio management and growth: Work with Payment Facilitators to increase Amex business volume and penetration.
  • Drive existing and new growth opportunities: Identify key growth opportunities, such as marketing-led initiatives, to increase Amex coverage and billings.
  • Contract negotiation: Negotiate complex contracts with partners to maximize commercial opportunities.
  • Acquisition of new intermediary partners: Prospect, contract, and implement new partnerships to support wider team goals.
  • Compliance and regulation: Ensure ongoing compliance with European regulatory frameworks and Amex policies.

You'll be working closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders, including Risk, Pricing, Servicing, Legal, Compliance, Policy, and global strategy teams.

About you

We're looking for someone with a track record of managing large and enterprise partnerships, driving performance through business development opportunities, and ensuring compliance. You should have a strong understanding of the Payment Facilitator space and the value it offers.

  • Minimum qualifications: 3+ years of experience in partnerships or a related field, with a proven track record of managing large and enterprise partnerships.
  • Industry expertise: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the European Payment Facilitator and payments landscape.
  • Financial acumen: Strong financial analysis skills, including margin and revenue analysis.
