Sales Development Manager

Citrus Recruit is pleased to be recruiting for a Sales Development Manager in Smethwick, working with a global manufacturing company.
This role involves managing multiple accounts simultaneously and requires a sales professional with a strong background and hunter mentality.
As a key member of the team, you will work together to manage a territory, generate new business, grow existing accounts, and support the business through growth.
Responsibilities & Key Activities- Create new business opportunities with new customers and lapsed account holders.
- Utilize training provided to engage and attract customers.
- Reconnect with lapsed accounts by offering a fresh contact or approach.
- Manage multiple accounts while generating new leads.
- Promote new products from the expanding range, upsell, and cross-sell to ensure customers are aware of the full product portfolio.
- Collaborate with your Field Sales Manager to achieve targets and KPIs.
- Proven B2B sales experience.
- Experience working towards and achieving KPIs and sales targets.
- Industrial or engineering experience, particularly with chemicals, adhesives, or paints, is advantageous.
- £27,000 salary.
- Annual bonus structure – up to 25%.
- Quarterly sales incentives.
- Monday to Thursday, 08:30-17:00, and Friday, 08:30-13:30 working hours.
- Company pension.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
- 4x Life insurance.
