Sales Development Specialist

Citrus Recruit is currently seeking an Internal Sales Account Manager to join a global manufacturing company based in Smethwick. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in sales, who can manage multiple accounts simultaneously and work towards achieving targets and KPIs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, growing existing accounts, and supporting the company through a period of growth. As part of a pairing team, you will work closely with your Field Sales Manager to achieve your targets and contribute to the company's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create new business opportunities with new customers and lapsed customer accounts.
- Use training provided to engage and attract customers.
- Reconnect with lapsed accounts by providing a fresh contact or approach.
- Account management of multiple accounts while generating new leads.
- Introduce new products from the expanding range, up-sell, and cross-sell to ensure customers are aware of the full product portfolio.
- Work closely with your Field Sales Manager to work towards your targets and KPIs.
Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to earn a bonus based on performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven B2B sales experience.
- Experience working towards and achieving KPIs and sales targets.
- Experience working in an industrial or engineering setting, with chemicals, adhesives, or paints would be advantageous.
