About the Role

The Bishop of Southwark seeks a dedicated individual to serve as the chair of our safeguarding group.

The successful candidate will have current or recent experience in safeguarding children, young people, and adults, as well as a strong understanding of safeguarding practices in a Church context.

This leadership position is vital for ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals within our Diocese.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance and best practices

A competitive salary of £500 per day (maximum 12 days per annum) will be offered to the successful candidate.
