We are seeking a highly skilled Chair of Trustees to lead our Board of Trustees. As the senior representative and spokesperson, you will ensure the Board operates with high standards of governance and financial probity.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to apply their own skills and experience to enhance the life skills of young people and support a charitable institution.

We are a volunteer-led charity empowering young people through horsemanship. Our committed team of trustees is looking for a supportive leader who can bring experience from either another charitable environment or the commercial world.

The ideal candidate will have strategic and financial management skills, a desire to empower young people, and a strong commitment to governance at Board level.

As Chair, you will:

  • Ensure the Board operates to a high standard of governance and financial probity
  • Empower young people to improve their skills, independence, and self-esteem
  • Provide strategic and financial leadership

We estimate the salary for this role to be in the range of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
