Vice Chair Resident Support

Ambitious and compassionate individuals are invited to apply for the role of Residents' Support Trustee at MWN Hub, a not-for-profit organisation providing supported housing for older people who value their independence.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on resident care and welfare to the Chair and Trustees.
- Drive opportunities for increased resident welfare through thought leadership and analysis.
- Co-lead the Residents and Volunteers Group with fellow Trustee Andrew Hoy.
- Liaise with the Services Committee to monitor policy implementation and delivery standards.
- Maintain regular informal visits to our five houses to support residents and House Managers.
Person Specification
- Prior experience working with older people or personal experience caring for an older person.
- A good listener with empathy for the challenges faced by older people.
- Compassionate and caring with a strong ability to build relationships.
Estimated Salary: £45,000 per annum
