Resident Care and Welfare Coordinator

As a Supportive Community Governance Assistant at Abbeyfield Southern Oaks, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include advising the Board on resident care and welfare, analyzing opportunities for improved support, and collaborating with the Residents and Volunteers Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer expert advice to the Chair and trustees on resident care and welfare matters
- Conduct thorough analyses of opportunities to enhance resident support and well-being
- Work closely with the Residents and Volunteers Group to promote a sense of community and connection among residents
- Monitor the implementation of policies and standards within the Services Committee
- Engage in regular informal visits to our five houses to build relationships with residents and support staff
- Attend coffee mornings, social events, and occasional lunches to foster connections with residents and volunteers
The estimated annual salary for this position is £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience and location.
