This role offers a unique opportunity to work in the NHS, providing essential administrative support for the Mental Health Act Compliance Team.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, liaising with social services departments, and supporting managers hearings and tribunals.

Main Duties
  1. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Mental Health Act and apply it in day-to-day administration.
  2. Communicate effectively with colleagues and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  3. Contribute to the provision of high-quality administrative support to the MHA Compliance team.
  4. Support the implementation of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and CQC visits.
  5. Develop your skills and knowledge through comprehensive training and professional development opportunities.
Working Arrangements
  • This is a part-time, fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.
  • You will work at Ipswich Hospital, with occasional travel to West Suffolk Hospital.
  • You will have access to comprehensive training and professional development opportunities.

We offer a competitive salary of around £28,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
