Newmedica, a leading provider of NHS ophthalmology services in England, is seeking a skilled administrator to join our team. This full-time position involves working 40 hours over 5 days per week, including weekends on a rota basis.

About the Role

This varied role requires carrying out different administrative duties, such as booking patients into appointments, making and answering phone calls, sending and replying to emails, managing post, and dealing with enquiries. Our clinics are busy, so we're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where every day is different.

Responsibilities
  • Administrative tasks, including appointment bookings and email management
  • Excellent communication skills and a good phone manner
  • Competent user of Office 365 programmes
Requirements
  • A minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
  • An excellent grasp of the English language, both verbally and in written format
  • Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous
