Reed is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join their Private Client department as a Legal Secretary.

The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support to the solicitors, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence
  • Managing diaries and scheduling appointments
  • Handling telephone calls and client inquiries professionally
  • Maintaining and organizing client files and records
  • Assisting with the preparation of court documents and bundles
  • Conducting legal research as required
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other professionals
  • General administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably within a Private Client department
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
