We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Network Rail in London. This is a unique opportunity to shape and influence HR practices that support and drive business objectives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering strategic HR initiatives, building strong partnerships with senior leadership, and providing hands-on HR support across various projects. They will work closely with our broader HR team and Centres of Expertise to deliver integrated solutions.

This role offers a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business needs, commercial acumen, and strong technical HR knowledge.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing the HR Strategy and People Plan, focusing on talent development, succession planning, and change management;
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing coaching and HR expertise to drive effective people management solutions;
  • Acting as a key HR point of contact for initiatives such as organizational change, senior appointments, and talent programs;
  • Collaborating across teams to deliver integrated solutions;
  • Empowering line managers to take ownership of people management responsibilities.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A deep understanding of business needs, with a proven track record of partnering effectively with senior managers;
  • Influence & Impact: Skilled in coaching and influencing senior leaders, you have experience implementing best-practice HR solutions that drive results;
  • HR Expertise: CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience) with strong technical HR knowledge and experience in complex environments;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural ability to negotiate, influence, and engage at all levels.
