About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Children's Support Specialist in Weymouth.

The successful candidate will work with an individual who requires 24-hour support, managing their tracheostomy and assisting with daily living tasks.

This is a rewarding role that requires resilience, reliability, and empathy, making a significant difference in someone's life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support with all aspects of daily living, including personal care and housekeeping.
  • Assist with clinical tasks as needed.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • E nsure the individual's safety and well-being at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with the individual and other team members.
  • Respect confidentiality and privacy.
  • Adhere to care plans and guidelines provided.
  • Aid with light household chores, including cooking and cleaning.

Requirements:

  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Empathy, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals in need of support.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
