About the Role

This Deputy Home Manager position offers a unique opportunity to work with children and young people with complex needs, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. In this role, you will lead your team and work with other professionals to provide therapeutic care and support tailored to each child.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all day-to-day management matters, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, organize work patterns, facilitate care-focused training, and access appropriate services to support childcare practices within the home.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working within a Residential Children's home.
  • NVQ Level 4 in Management or Childcare, or be willing to work towards it.
  • Related knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
