Job Overview
The NHS England is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Manager to lead the East of England South ISDN programme. This role will be responsible for delivering system-wide transformation and improvements in stroke care.

About the Role
The successful candidate will have exceptional communication, motivational, and quality improvement skills, be able to influence and encourage teams to work across organisational boundaries and hold patient care at the heart of their work. They will have extensive knowledge of programme management and transformation and experience of delivering large scale projects across organisational and geographic boundaries.

Main Responsibilities
Engage and communicate with key stakeholders to promote sustainable and equitable stroke services; act as a conduit for information and initiatives between national, regional and local systems; ensure full engagement with the Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP); and support effective stroke care pathways across the ISDNs.

Requirements
Educated to master's level or equivalent level of experience in specialist area; demonstrable specialist knowledge and worked experience of stroke care services; ability to make decisions autonomously on difficult issues; experience of receiving complex information, negotiating with senior stakeholders; and experience of leading complex quality improvement projects.

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will also receive a range of benefits including a pension scheme, annual leave, and access to training and development opportunities.

Working Arrangements
Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend at least 40% of their time working in-person.
