Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our Integrated Stroke Early Supported Discharge and Community Neuro Rehabilitation Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering evidence-based specialist neuro physiotherapy programmes to patients with complex needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop comprehensive physiotherapy programmes for patients under the care of the Early Supported Discharge Service for Stroke and Community Neuro Rehab team.
  • Provide adaptive equipment, rehabilitation programmes, and make referrals to other professionals and agencies as appropriate.
  • Supervise non-registered staff and ensure they deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Take an active role in training, teaching, and supporting non-registered staff to achieve competencies.
Requirements
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
  • Experience in neurology and/or stroke rehabilitation.
  • Good report writing skills.
  • Ability to travel independently and have access to a personal vehicle.
