Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer - Bishops Clyst Parish Council

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Bishops Clyst Parish Council team as a Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer. As a key member of the council, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth running of the parish council.

Bishops Clyst Parish lies immediately to the east of Exeter and comprises the villages of Clyst St Mary and Sowton. The parish council meets 12 times a year, with the Clerk working from the parish council office situated in Clyst St Mary Village Hall.

The role involves working 12 hours per week, with a salary in accordance with National Association of Local Council (NALC) scales, depending on experience. Formal training and plenty of help and advice will be available.

The council meets in the evening on the second Monday of each month, with other meetings called as required. If you are looking for a rewarding role in local government, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Estimated salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum.
