Administrative Support Role for Parish Council

We are seeking a skilled administrator to join our team as a Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer. This is an excellent opportunity to work in local government and contribute to the success of the Bishops Clyst Parish Council.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the parish council, including preparing agendas and minutes, maintaining records, and dealing with correspondence.

The parish council is based in Clyst St Mary Village Hall and meets 12 times a year. The role involves working 12 hours per week, with a salary in accordance with National Association of Local Council (NALC) scales, depending on experience.

Formal training and plenty of help and advice will be available to ensure your success in this role. Estimated salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum.
